Established in 1990, Capers Café & Catering Co. is a family owned business. After the long success of Capers Café, we opened Chez Joly restaurant Portland’s Pearl District on the corner of Broadway and Davis which is now available to lease as an event space or to hold any special event where you may need our professional catering services.

Created by Christian and Annette Joly, and including Capers Café & Catering Co. and Capers et Le Bar located in Concourse C at Portland’s International Airport, the company is ready to fulfill all of your dining and catering needs. Our talented chefs have a wide range of creativity and culinary skills, and the food is prepared using only the finest and freshest local ingredients. This, combined with our impeccable service, ensures that you will be pleased when your food arrives.

Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, appetizers or dinner; whether at your home, special event, venue, office, studio, showroom, or any location of your choice, we can accommodate you.

Chez Joly Catering is a custom caterer, specializing in foods and beverages tailor-made for our customers. The chef driven kitchen of Chez Joly can take care of all the arrangements for your functions. We provide experienced wait staff, arrange for rentals and décor such as china, silverware, flowers and entertainment. We also offer full beverage and bar service.

Choose your own location, ask about renting our full-service café meeting room, or the Chez Joly event space located in Portland’s Pearl District. We are available for weddings, seminars, business meetings, banquets, and company picnics, in business offices, conference centers, ballrooms and parks.

Also available is our in-flight catering, serving corporate travelers in the air. We never take shortcuts and our work is 100 percent guaranteed. Our Catering Director will happily meet with you and work to plan the perfect event.
